As we look around we see the immorality, violence, & hatred of human society only getting worse. It’s tempting to get depressed & discouraged b/c it’s like one preacher said, “…visibly, it seems the devil is writing history.” But, thank GOD for Daniel chapter two. Daniel chapter two teaches us very clearly that while kingdoms of this world are deteriorating in their forms of government & growing fiercer in strength, they are passing away, & will be replaced by the kingdom of Christ. GOD’s kingdom is our only hope for every problem this world has & I’m here to report that it is on its way. When that kingdom comes, it is going to be a different story than what we hear today. So, it may seem that the devil is writing history today; but, in that day he will be history!
