As we draw closer to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, this world will become more chaotic. Wars & rumors of coming wars will dominate the news. Political strife will escalate as those in power fight over different measures & policies to address the confusing issues of our world. Social unrest will increase from the uncertainty & instability of the economy which will continue to be volatile because of global pandemics, terrorism, famines, & other issues. The lack of true leadership will become more prevalent than ever in the last days causing the world to long for a real leader with real answers. Mussolini, the fascist dictator of Italy, said his rise to power was the result of a leadership vacuum. He said he saw a lot empty thrones & decided to take one. Today, we are watching another leadership vacuum develop. No nation today seems to have any real competent leadership & this void is only going to increase. And it will only intensify the desperate hope of people for someone intelligent, charismatic, influential, & powerful enough to stabilize the economy, deal with global disasters & relief, & bring our divided world together.
