Though the Son of GOD came to the world He created for the purpose of saving fallen man, the reception He received is shocking to say the least. The reason I say that is because Jesus was rejected by the very people who should have recognized Him & rolled the red carpet out to receive Him. Yet, we read:
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
