Tonight, we are looking at the conspiracy which arose against Jeremiah for simply preaching the words that GOD had given him to speak to his apostate nation. This passage is a reminder to every believer that if we truly love GOD, obey Him, & stand for His truth, sooner or later we can expect some degree of adversity, hostility, & even persecution from those who do not know GOD. This opposition may be experienced in your own nation, on your job, or even within your own family. But, be sure of this, it will come.
