Bible Passage: Psalm 107:1
As you know, life is full of troubles, sorrows, pains, betrayals, uncertainties, disappointments, & struggles. Because of this reality, there are certain truths that every believer should have settled in their hearts & minds. The first truth we need to anchor our faith upon is that GOD is sovereign (He’s in control). This truth is what provides stability for a Christian when life is shaken up. Secondly, we need to be firmly convinced of GOD’s goodness. Trusting in GOD’s goodness is essential to keep a believer from becoming bitter & falling into despair when situations seem hopeless.
