This morning we are going to look at the example of a Christian failure – his name is Lot. Yes, he was a saved man, but he failed on so many levels which resulted in him losing his testimony & his family. Lot’s story is recorded as a warning for believers about the disaster that follows the slippery slope of compromise. Lot serves as a contrast to his uncle Abraham in the Bible. You see, Abraham walked by faith (sure he had his faithless moments, but the whole of his life was one of faith) whereas Lot by walk by sight.
