No matter whether you are serving GOD faithfully or not, you are going to find yourself in difficult situations. Many of the painful moments we face are the result of our own making. Some are simply the common experiences of living in a fallen world where things breakdown naturally. Other difficulties are divinely planned and arranged by GOD for the purpose of cultivating a spirit of faith within His children. Either way, GOD is sovereign & therefore He directly causes or allows every situation. But you need to understand this – GOD does not cause or allow difficult times to bring pain into our lives for no purpose at all.
