On the Sunday the Lord returned from the grave, He made multiple appearances to His followers. Let me summarize them for you. First, Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene (John 20). Next, He would appear to the company of women which had made their way to the tomb to anoint His body. According to Matthew 28, after the women encountered the angel at the empty tomb, they headed back for Jerusalem to find the disciples & that’s when Jesus appeared to them.
