Dealing With Disagreements – Part 6

Christians, the quality of our unity either attracts or repels the world. Unfortunately, while the earl Church had some brilliant successes, regarding unity it failed miserably in many places. The church in Galatia was split up by legalism. The church in Corinth chose sides & divided over what to do about one of its members who was committing adultery. Pergamos was fractured & diluted by Christians’ marriages to unbelievers. And the Lord said in effect that the church at Laodicea made him sick. The early Church often fell far short of Christ’s explicit teaching & prayer.
