A Lesson On The LORD’s Supper

The Apostle Paul begins this section with a commendation.

1Co 11:2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

Paul says, “I praise [I compliment] you, brethren, for the way in which you all have remembered [honored] me in all things, & held fast the traditions [ordinances] which I delivered unto you.” The ordinances refer not to habits and practices that the church has created down through the years, but rather, in this case, to the inspired instructions of the Apostle Paul.
